§ Why travel with us

Not a package off a shelf

Arika has guided visitors across Indonesia since 2019, from her own home province outwards.

  1. I

    Local guides

Guided by people who grew up in these places themselves, not reading from a brochure.

  2. II

    Flexible itineraries

Each day can be adjusted to your pace, your interests and your schedule.

  3. III

    Sumatra to Papua

From Lake Toba and Bukit Lawang through to Labuan Bajo and Raja Ampat.

§ How it works

Three steps to your trip

  1. 01

    Tell us your dates

How long you have, what you want to see, and how much walking you are up for.

  2. 02

    We draft the itinerary

A day-by-day plan, reworked until it fits. There is no consultation fee for this.

  3. 03

    Confirm with a deposit

A 30% deposit secures your dates. The balance is settled before you arrive.

§ Good to know

Before you book

Q1 What does the price include?

Accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner, transport with your guide and driver, and the activities and entrance fees listed on each package page.

Q2 What is not included?

Flights, travel insurance, airport tax, alcoholic drinks, souvenirs and personal expenses, and tips for your guide and crew.

Q3 How do I book?

A deposit of at least 30% of the tour price confirms your booking — 40% for the Labuan Bajo sailing trip. Deposits are not refundable if you cancel.

Q4 When do I pay the rest?

For most tours, the balance is due 4 days before you arrive in Indonesia. For the Sumatra overland trip and the Bali tour, it is due two weeks ahead.

Q5 Can the itinerary change?

Yes. Daily plans can be adjusted to suit you, and island trips such as Labuan Bajo and Raja Ampat may shift with the weather.

Q6 Do I need travel insurance?

It is not included in the tour price, and we strongly recommend arranging it in your own country before you travel.
